TARAMATI CHANEL-QUINTAL
(Tara Chanel)

Taramati embarked on her professional modeling journey at the age of 15, navigating the high-fashion world and crafting her own unique style. Her career took her across the globe, including a stint living in Paris as a runway model. Upon returning to Hawai’i, she began teaching aspiring models and producing fashion shows for her elite fashion clients, leading to the creation of The Catwalk Company. Some of the prestigious brands she has collaborated with include Etro, Chanel, Escada, St John, Celine, Tori Richards, Issey Miyake, Tadashi, and many more. This made her known as Hawaii's Runway Top Model.

In addition to her modeling career, Taramati is a professional dancer who was hired by The Hawai’i Visitor’s Bureau to travel the world promoting the State of Hawai’i. She returned to Hawai’i to grace many stages in Waikiki with her elegant interpretation of the Art of Hula, performing for esteemed venues such as The Halekulani, Sheraton, Moana Surfrider, and Hilton Hotels.

As a producer of special events and fashion shows, Taramati's expertise has kept her in high demand over the years. She has also shared her knowledge by teaching Fashion Show Production classes at Honolulu Community College, a division of The University of Hawai'i, before relocating to New Zealand.
Currently, she has downsized and divides her time between Hawai’i and New Zealand, finding joy in teaching and consulting, which allows her to share her mana'o (knowledge) with eager learners. Her Communications Degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, further enhances her ability to connect and communicate effectively.
