I was born and raised in Hawai’i where I attended the Kamehameha Schools for children of Hawaiian descent and completed my advanced degree education at Woodbury University in Los Angeles.

After starting and overseeing a successful business in Hawai’i for twenty-five years, I sold it and entered government service as the appointed Director of the Department of Enterprise Services with the City & County of Honolulu. I served under three Mayoral Administrations before retiring and moving to Aotearoa.

My soul mate, Taramati Chanel, has had an extensive career as a model, fashion show producer, and Polynesian dancer. Taramati and I enjoy living in New Zealand and are committed to participating in the cultural, heritage, and art sectors of this vibrant community.

I have been blessed to have had an exciting and adventurous career as a Professional Model, Polynesian Dancer, Trade and Fashion Show Producer and Special Events Coordinator.

I worked as one of Hawaii's top runway model for many years.  I was busy working as a print, and television commercial model but found fashion modeling to be my favorite.  An exciting time in my career was when I lived and worked in Paris as a fashion model. 

Eventually I became a teacher of my trade, I taught modeling, hula dancing and was asked to teach Fashion Show Production at Honolulu Community College (a division of The University of Hawaii). 

My Communication Degree is from Regis University (Denver, Colorado).
